From space, Earth seems at peace.
But appearances can be deceiving.
The Sun’s heat is being trapped on Earth
by CO2 we put in the atmosphere.
The Polar ice caps are melting.
Glaciers are crumbling.
Sea levels are rising.
We are now in a global crisis.
A crisis we created.
The crisis could get much worse, soon.
and bring on world-wide flooding,
and the worst refugee crisis in human history.
and global drought.
There may be less food and drinkable water.
Leading to war between nations.
We must reduce our CO2 emissions.
Or the sun which warms us will destroy us.
Our very existence may soon be threatened.
